EUA-FAIRsFAIR webinar: Building FAIR data policies and services within universities
European University Association (EUA), FAIRsFAIR project's main partner, is organising this webinar on 8th December at 14:00-15:00 CET to share and discuss the FAIRsFAIR policy and service recommendations for research data management at research organisations, as well as institutional good practices and the role of FAIR data within Horizon Europe.
Universities an researchers across Europe are increasingly expected to manage research data according to the FAIR principles, most notably through Horizon Europe. Therefore, research data policies, support services, processes and infrastructure at higher education institutions need to be ready for FAIR data. Bottom-up and top-down measures must converge at the institutional level, making this a challenge of strategic relevance that encompasses different levels and stakeholders within a university.
FAIRsFAIR, a European-level project funded through the European Open Science Cloud initiative, is at the forefront of developing recommendations and guidance documents on hw to build and sustain research data management policies and services within reserach performing organisations.
The webinar will be of interest to leadership or management staff in charge of managing or establing research data management policies and services, research data management professionals, as well as researchers and others with an interest in research data and Open Science.
A recording will be freely available on the EUA YouTube channel for those who are interested but unable to attend.
