Take part in the EOSC Symposium 2021: Call for contributions

04 May 2021

The European Open Science Cloud has finally entered its highly-anticipated implementation phase (2021-2027) and a new EOSC Governance is being established. The EOSC Symposium 2021 provides a key engagement opportunity for the EOSC community

Building on the EOSC Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), the newly-established EOSC Association is setting up a number of Advisory Groups and Task Forces that will start operating by June.

At the same time, a plethora of EU, regionally and nationally funded research projects are carrying out activities, producing key exploitable results which can contribute to this new phase.

Become a part of the EOSC Symposium 2021

The Symposium also offers an inclusive platform for all stakeholders to share objectives, visions, activities and results in order to shape the future of the EOSC. We are inviting the EOSC community to submit their contributions and become an active part of the Symposium.

With many EC-funded projects and other activities already working on these priorities, this open call provides the opportunity to apply to present results and ongoing activities at the Symposium either through presentation, lightning talk or panel participation.

How to apply

Your application must be relevant to one of the topics listed below. When filling out your application you will be required to provide information about yourself, and provide an abstract of your presentation.

You can indicate a preferred presentation format (this is a preference, the programme committee will make the final decision as to which applications are successful and in which format they will present).

Presentation Formats

  • 10/15-minute presentation with slidedeck
  • 3-minute lightning presentation (max 3 slides)
  • Panel participation (no slides)
